My son and his friend explored a local park in Burnaby during our visit. It was worth the hike. It was fairly scenic. It was no Stanley Park, but still provided some nice scenic view, and it was not so crowded. The signs say to watch out for bears.
We are trying to do all the walks in the lower mainland and this was on our. So far one of the nicest ones with great views of the lake.
Lots parking to the park. Lots entrance points. Beautiful lake front walkways. And very nice kids playground. Highly recommended!!
My husband and I go to this park often to walk around the lake. It is very pretty and has a boardwalk around the lake. It takes about an hour to go around, so we get some exercise while enjoying the views.
You can enjoy a walk around the lake and see the amazing sunrise or sunset. Very peaceful place. A perfect place if you need to calm down.
There’s a garden at the entrance of the lake.
We went boating on Canada Day and we had fun, relaxing and enjoying time. The view was great. Lots of ducks and geese.
