“Good for a family”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

I had a one bedroom for the price of a std suite. Although this is a slightly older hotel, the rooms are big. A queen and a double in the bedroom with a full kitchen along with a fold out double in the small sitting room. Ideal for my family of two teenagers.
Good price on the hotel website and a great Vancouver location for us. Brentwood Mall is a couple of blks away with the Skytrain about the same distance. The local Tim Horton's is about 50yds south of the front door.

Clean, reasonably priced and with excellent staff. Our travel agent mixed up the original reservation, but the hotel staff immediately corrected the problem by upgrading to a really nice suite. Stayed a week and didn't have a single problem or complaint for the entire duration. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting accommodation in the Burnaby area. Sky train is within steps of the hotel.

The hotel is located within walking distance of a few decent places to eat, is clean and comfortable. We only spent one night here, so weigh the review accordingly. Didn't care for the parking surcharge for the hotel lot, but that may be normal for Burnaby. No breakfast offered, either.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite for our anniversary this weekend and it was great! We got the dinner and dreams package and what a deal! We got a three course meal at Tivoli's which was so fantastic! Just the meal was worth $60. Then we got breakfast included as well, drinks and all. We didn't get as great of service with it being Sunday morning though because they have a big buffet lunch and they were busy preparing for that. The only things we thought could be improved were that the jacuzzi was a bit cramped for two and the shower is definitely too small for two. We also could have used more towels. There was only one coffee package and no stir sticks. I am sure we could have gotten more coffee if we had really wanted it. The room had huge windows and a great view of the city. The huge king size bed was so comfortable. The ice machine is on the bottom floor in case you look for it like we did. A few more benefits were it's location. There is a Save On Foods just down the street, within walking distance and the sky train station is also near by. There is also a Cactus Club and Boston Pizza right there. All in all it was a fantastic place and we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: The honeymoon suite has a jucuzzi right in the bedroom, the room is large with huge windows and a ni...

Stayed 1 night just last weekend. Thought we were booking at the Coquitlam location and only realized once we arrived. We stayed in a double bed suite with a full fridge, microwave. The bedding was extremely worn. The room itself was old and worn, the carpet in the hallway frayed and coming apart. The TV's reception was poor and hairdryer was broken. Parking was $6, then we paid another $2 parking tax on top of that. Cactus Club restaurant nearby was horribly overpriced. Pluses would be that it was very clean and the staff was friendly.

Overall, it wasn't anywhere near worth the cost and I'd stay elsewhere.

Stayed here over mothers day weekend. It was such great value and close to everything we needed. The staff was helpful and gave directions for using the sea train to the airport - so easy! The rooms were clean and close to restaurants and shopping mall. The restaurant at the hotel a bit expensive. I would definately stay there again!!

Our room had a living room area, with a mini fridge and microwave, a jacuzzi tub,.and a separate bedroom area.

The outdoor pool would not be usable during the winter months.

Sunday Brunch is pretty good. Offerring a variety of cheese and meats, breakfast items, pasta, meats, dim sum, carving station, and fruit and desserts.

Reservations are highly recommended.
