Overlooking the Burrard Inlet this park has a variety of things to offer... there are several nice walking trails, a playground and the city and bay views are exceptional. Some very unusual Asian Statues (Kamui Mintara) - "playground of the gods" located near the peak, make great photo ops.
Great spot for the whole family to spend an afternoon or a day.

“Great park with great view to the city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

This place is a little bit off the popular touristic track. A shame since it's a gem! Green rolling hill, perfect for families with little children to unwind. It has some unique wooden statues that makes a perfect backdrop for picture. The vista is just spectacular! You can see Vancouver and the bridges on the horizon. It's also has a decent rose garden, a restaurant and children playground. Nearby is SFU that offers another amazing scenery. And since it's less known, you don't have to "fight" with other tourists for picture taking. Instead, you have quiet peaceful time to enjoy the spectacular view of Vancouver!

“Great views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

This is a must for the Burnaby traveller. The best time to go is at sunset. You can see the lights of Vancouver and the wonderful scenery of Burrard inlet. The totems are quite unique. They were donated to our city by indigenous people of northern Japan. If you go here in the daytime you can enjoy the many paths that meander through the forests of Burnaby Mountain. If you're up to it, try walking the 500 steps that take you down to Barnett Marine Park area.

“What a beautiful view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2014 via mobile

Come, see for yourself. During noon hour with bright sun, there a plenty of flowers like roses and background view of the city of Burnaby might even see a little bit of Vancouver. Totem poles are also beautiful. Inlet with pines mountain view is breathtaking. Appreciate God's creation.
