This place was amazing it really took us back through history and the carrousel was extremely fun. The houses were well preserved and the employees were very informative.

“Amazing place, must see”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

It is an amazing place to spend a day especially with kids. The Burnaby Village Museum has its own spirit with the old cinema theatre, mechanical piano, play room for kids, steam machine and many other must sees. We go there at least once a year and also on special occasions like Canada Day, Christmas etc.
Highly recommended and any weather will work!

“Always Fun”

This place will never disappoint you, regardless of how many times you visit. There is always lots to keep you interested. I never grow tired of the carousel rides. We take all our visitors just for that special treat. The people who work there are wonderful and make the experience worthwhile.

“Great Value”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

No admission price means you feel more free to enjoy the treats inside like the ice cream shop. Well worth a visit. Christmas time with lights and groups doing music is good too. Just avoid rainy days as it can be quite muddy and you are outside a lot.

“Worth a Trip for a Whirl”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

A small heritage village but with quite a lot of historical significance for the area. Some activities for kids and interpretations done by volunteers. Highlight of the Museum is a working carousel that is a thrill for kids and parents alike.
