We have lived in the area for years but had not been to the restuarant since the old owners. We had remember the best fish & chips and were so excited to take our kids there after a week long camping trip up north.
The fish & chips we order looked like it came from a frozen highliner box in the gorcery store. When we asked the waitress she said they ran out of there regular fish and chips and it really did come from the grocery store....gross considering there is tons of fresh fish right out at the dock.
They still charged us the full price of $20 per plate and we left very hungry and dissapointed.
Perhaps if they get some friendlier staff and better food I would go back as the secenery is great. Otherwise stay far away from eating at this place.
