We were just passing through and needed somewhere to eat, so with no time for much research we just turned to Trip Advisor and followed the advice to come here. As we've not dined anywhere else in this town, I couldn't comment on whether this really is one of the best places around: all I can say is that, if it is, the rest must be pretty ordinary indeed (actually, having driven past a few, that might well be the case).
The decor is best described as shopping-mall gloomy: this is just a concrete box with some furnishings inserted. The food was at best ok, and perhaps more accurately a bit odd. The service was friendly enough, but I really felt ripped off at paying premium prices for ordinary food.
Maybe the real moral of this experience is ... don't stop in Campbell River!
