“worth to visit”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

The museum presents the history (first nations, fishing and logging industry,…) of Campbell River and surrounding area. There is also a temporary exhibit on the forest fires.
I particularly enjoyed that the exhibits were done in a really interesting and beautiful way, with a love to details.

“the little museum that does”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

The Campbell River Museum is a great introduction to the history of this place. It well represents the aboriginal history here, and goes on to the logging, fishing and the very unusual history of the area. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours of rainy or hot afternoon time. The gift shop is beautifully stocked and reasonably priced. The admission price is very reasonable, especially for the locals, its free.

“Another great Vancouver Island museum”
Reviewed August 7, 2013 via mobile

British Columbia sure knows how to do museums, and the Campbell River museum is no exception. An excellent facility showcasing the region's First Nations heritage, and their logging and fishing history. A theatre and interactive exhibits throughout. Great gift shop. Definitely worthwhile for any cultural/history travellers out there.
