I liked everything about this Museum. The lighting and the temperature were perfect to induce you to visit for some time. The Coast Salish displays were amazing and the masks and verbal storys were riviting. I particularly loved the logging and the Salmon canning displays as these were the major local industries. The informational plaques were beautifully shown and wonderfully written. This is well worth the small entrance fee, and worth the visit!

Lots to first nations history and art, early days of Campbell River, and a fabulous display of why Campbell river was known as the "Salmon Capital of the World." We were able to catch one of the days when the big steam donkey engine was running, and their antique logging trucks were on display. This is a real gem of a museum, and well worth visiting.

This museum is a smaller version of the Royal Victoria Museum and very worth a visit to explore the history of the Campbell River area. The exhibits are first class and must be a wonderful resource for the schools in the area. We really enjoyed our visit!!

This museum has ended up with some of the older carvings I have mostly only seen in pictures. The modern carvings are also exquisite. The pre-contact historical parts are quite good too. It's a great introduction tot the area.
