“A fantastic day - we will cherish forever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

Having had the privilege of being a CEO in the travel business for over 25 years, I have been very fortunate to experience most of the world and have seen many fantastic places.
I have many “top 10” memories, and I certainly did not expect this “small trip” of 6+ hours from Campbell River to be one of the best experiences I have had.
We met with 7 other participants at around 10.30 and the company part-owner, Garry , gave a really interesting introduction to the area prior to heading out on the water. He was extremely honest on the chances of viewing different species, so we have no false expectations.
Garry really cares ! , and that’s just fantastic to experience. He cares for the local area, the local communities and for the local wildlife. He respects the animals, and has an incredible knowledge of the area.We learned quite a lot on the tour, and saw Orcas, Dolphins, Bald Eagles, seals, all of them several times on the tour.
Garry’s insight and stories was the extra element that took this experience to the absolute top level.
We had the extra luck, that one of Garrys friends, a chief in one of the local First Nation communities, had joined the tour, and sitting on the boat near Bute Inlet watching bald eagles while Garry’s friend sang and drummed the original area music, is something we will remember forever.
This was a fantastic tour, and my advice to anyone visiting the are us – Go on the 6 Hours tour, it will be some of the best 6 hours you will ever spend.
Thank you Garry !

“This is a great tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

We went on this tour with Gary the Owner/Operator of the tour. It was everything others have said about it on TripAdvisor. We saw plenty of Eagles, curious seals, a couple of black bears, and a pod of Playful jumping Dolphins. The only downside was the weather. but even that made for a mystic background for the sea life we witnessed.
We look forward to returning later in the year to see Whales and Grizzleys.
Book it. you will not be sorry

“Excellent wildlife Viewing Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

A fabulous day out! Went on a six (and a half!) hour trip with Gary round Vancouver Island which was really excellent.
Failed to see any whales but saw lots of sea eagles, dolphins, a cinnamon (black) bear and a young grizzly.
Gary is a font of knowledge and a really likeable guy. Lunch was included which was very good even though I didn't tell them I was vegetarian!
If you are planning a trip like this in the Campbell river area look no further. Just book it.

“What a great day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

When we booked our trip , due to the time of year, we were not sure if we would see any Orcas. Thanks to the expertise of Garry we located 2 beautiful pods, one with a baby. We had the whales all to ourselves not like the crowd of boats in Victoria, while all surrounded by the unscarred beauty of Ocean, islands and mountains. We saw lots of wildlife and the 6 hour trip went quick and we did not want it to end. Garry had lots of interesting story's and was very informative about the whales, wildlife and the area. One of the best whale watching trips I have been on, this is # 6.

“Adventure of a life time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

We had a wonderful 4 hour tour with Garry on the waters of the Pacific Ocean in amongst the beautiful Discovery Islands. He found and then followed Orca for nearly the entire time-what magnificent animals. Bald Eagles , Seals , Pacific Dolphins...you name it we saw it! His knowledge of the area and surrounds were unsurpassed and his tour of the ocean rapids breathtaking.
