What a great experience! Jack is truly committed to ensuring that you enjoy your adventure. The whale watching was superb. We saw five Orca whales and numerous eagles. The highlight through was spending about 10 minutes watching a black bear along the shore. We have seen black bear before but felt very safe viewing this young one from the boat. We were up wind with the motor off so the bear had no idea we were observing her.
We were in a covered boat so could go indoors if it got too cool. They also have zodiacs and that looked like a lot of fun too.

Campbell River is a very beautiful area on Vancouver Island with excellent facilities and if you want to really enjoy the natural beauty, takes a tour with Jack. We liked the fact that Jack was very conscious of the environment to the extent that they do not use disposable cups for the afternoon coffee or hot chocolate stop. This is their workplace and they want it to remain pristine and beautiful.

Unlike so many other whale-watching excursion company, this company really cares about giving visitors an exciting experience without sacrificing the health and safety of the wildlife! They find the orca and then keep a respectful and legal distance so as not intrude or harm these amazing creatures. And Patches, the black bear, he seemed to know the boat and sense we would not harm him. The eagles feeding - better than any film I've seen. We took the 6-hour Zodiac cruise with lunch and would recommend it to everyone and anyone!

Recently went on the 4 hour wildlife tour with work. It was absolutely amazing! Although we went early in the season and did not manage to see any whales, we still saw eagles, seals, an large pod of dolphins, a black bear, and a stellar sea lion! The journey through all the island was a site to see itself and we got to speed through some tidal rapids and whirlpools. Aaron was our guide and he was super friendly and so knowledgable about the areas he took us to and their history. I am already planning my next adventure out with them!

Huge thanks to Hurricane Jack and the RCMP (who radioed whale sightings to us) for an unbelievable adventure for our family. A humpback whale, Dall's porpoises, a black bear up close, eagles up even closer, seals, sea lions, and a flock of birds in a side by side race. We passed by salmon fisheries, luxury hide-aways, and secluded cottages. Add to all this, the sweeping, mountainous BC scenery. Worth every penny, Jack! We'll come back again.
