I took my wife here for her birthday and we were not dissappointed! The cabins have hot tubs on the decks and the seating and jets are very nice! The ocean view from the deck is breathtaking and the grounds are pretty as well. We had a cabin service dinner by candlelight and the food was great! The cabins are clean and cozy. The restaurant is cozy and the included full breakfast was delicious! The cabins are pricey but worth it! The staff are friendly and accommodating. We observed eagles, seals, snowbird airplanes making a pass over the strait and an otter with its catch :) we will return!

We stayed in cabin 3 and had a stunning panoramic view. The cabin was rustic but cosy with a wood burning stove. The food in the restaurant was delicious and nicely presented. The staff were very helpful and organised a wildlife tour which picked us up from the resort quay. We would love to go back again!

We stayed in Cabin 9, which is near the main entrance so it doesn't have much of a view. The upside of this, is that there isn't much foot traffic walking by when you're in the hot tub. If you are not expecting a luxury resort, and you don't like all-out camping, than this is a good place for a quiet weekend with the comforts of a clean place to stay. The linens and towels are good quality, and the beds are comfortable.

Room Tip: Cabin 9 is mainly private, except for when vehicles drive in and out. When we walked down to the beach, we walked right by the other cabins with water views and could see into them if their curtains were open.

This small inn features a series of small cabins, with kitchenettes, deck, hot tub and great views. Cabin 1 is perhaps the most private and has a wonderful view of the narrows. We sat in the hot tub and watched bald eagles float by overhead (40 ft up from us). The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. We brought dinner in one night to enjoy the deck and the view (fish & chips paired with a nice wine from Quadra Island, just across the narrows). Wonderful to experience and a great romantic getaway. The restaurant at the property (breakfast included) is one of the best in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for Cabin 1. You can go online and see a good layout of the property and the locations of the cabins.

I'd like to start off by saying that I lived on the island for 20 years and now come back to visit as often as possible because I love it there so much (we're actually moving back next year, but that's beside the point). All of that being said, I can honestly say that this is the absolute best stay we have ever had on the Island. The grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing and the cabins are wonderful, cozy and relaxing. We booked our wedding there this year without even seeing the place, and after visiting could not be happier. All of the staff are WONDERFUL, they truly love where they work and love to have thier guests feel the same. Dolphins Resort has truly spoiled me - I won't stay anywhere else on the Island again!

I will say though that if you are searching a 5 star brand new ocean cookie-cutter resort like you would find in larger cities, this is not the place for you. If you want to "get away from it all" in a lovely, warm and absolutely stunning setting with all of the rustic charm you can imagine - book away! I can't say enough, I would live there all year if I could!

We are so excited to have our wedding there this summer - our guests are going to be absolutely blown away with how amazing this resort is, and we can't wait to go back and stay for a week! Absolutely and 100% recommend to anyone wanting a truly West Coast experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Beach House which was absolutely lovely - Cabin 1 is also on my list!
