The lake looks beautiful, and it is... if you're not swimming. The lake has been groomed of weeds for about a car length out into the water, but after that, the lake is full of weeds that nearly touch the surface all over the water. If you're swimming out past the groomed area, you're constantly being brushed by weeds all the way up to your belly. If you have a fear of weeds wrapping around your feet while you swim (or it even just creeps you out a bit), don't even bother trying at this lake. That being said.. there's a fantastic trail around the whole lake for a nice fresh-air walk.

World Class Cross Country Ski Trails.
Well groomed and maintained terrain.
Excellent from novice to professional. Several (wood stove)heated day cabins. Recommended family etc.

Just a parking lot with pit toilets and tables with fire pits .The lake is beautiful . When we stayed there , there were local people partying with load music and generators running all night and no one to tell them to stop . So we had a very unpleasant stay . use with caution

A nice clean rest stop while driving through the Paulson Pass. The campground itself is basically a parking lot with tables and fire pits behind. No privacy and I worry about safety of children who may wander from the camper into the middle of the lot. Not the best place for renters.
The lake, however, is cool and beautiful - a great place for canoeing and kayaking.

This is just basically a day use area (you can camp overnight but not many facilities other than pit toilets, fire rings, etc). The lake is very nice where you can canoe, fish, etc. It is right along hwy #3.
