“Funky Purple Bistro that all the Locals go to”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

We were invited by a business associate who lives in Comox to have a late lunch. This is a very popular place with excellent food large portions. It was Sunday and I think everybody from Courtney must go there. If you have six reservations can be made otherwise send somebody ahead and get your name on the list

“Eaten here at least 50 times and I've never been dissatisfied.”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

I've never written a Trip Advisor review so this is a first for me, but I figured its about time that I did...I've eaten here at least 50 times and I've never had a bad meal or bad service. These people really care about what they do. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. Awesome experience every single time.

“Good food, great value, service that was just "okay"”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

I enjoyed a tasty late lunch at Atlas during a recent mid-week visit to Courtenay. The warm roasted beet salad with goat cheese basil terrine was perfectly dressed, delicious with its contrasting textures (crisp greens and creamy cheese) and flavors (earthy root vegetables, rich chevre, bright vinaigrette). It would have been enough but, not knowing this, I also ordered the classic vegetarian foccacia sandwich which oozed with veggies, cheese and pesto encased in crunchy bread. Could only manage half of that.

Service was fine throughout the meal untill the end, when I waited nearly a half-hour with my credit card atop the check before finally chasing down someone to take my money for this splendid and well-priced lunch.
