“nice uncrowded walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2014

Lovely spot on a rocky beach. Usually uncrowded as it is a bit out of town but worth the drive. Salmon Point Bar and Grill is near and worth the extra effort especially for a sunset dinner in the summer.

“A genuine miracle.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2014

If you have a name like Miracle anything, there is a good reason for it. Walks in the woods, along the foreshore, sandbanks that seem to manufacute sand dollars, gentle pools that are ideal for little kids to play in, and a safe bay ideal for swims, herons, eagles and gulls as well as people. And then there is the view: incredible!

“been going here for 50 + years”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014

great camping - lots of sites, including sites for people with disabilities - washrooms (including showers), water, wood. The whole campsite is very well taken care of (on site parks people) who monitor the whole site. Two minute walk to the beach (ocean), which has a grassy area and a large covered area, both with lots of picnic tables and of course a great beach with lots of adventurous fun for kids (i know, i used to go there as a kid - it was where our family went for a two week vacation every year). not too far away (10 minute drive, or a 20 minute bike ride) there is a great local grocery store, liquor store, medical clinic with pharmacy and coffee/pizza place. also close by another great beach - Saratoga - lots of sand! the camping fills up quickly and in advance (popular place). Also had day parking if you don't plan to camp. lots of fun, laughter and happiness here!

“Very nice walkway by the Ocean”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

Walked all the way to the river mouth, was surprised to see a large area of the beach has nice sand. Popular even in November, definitely worth a return, one of the nicest beaches in the area.
