Previous review is bang on. Just want to confirm - it is all true. First time I ate there was after returning home from living in Asia and suffering terrible "homesickness" for Asia. I was cold and hungry for a month, saw this place and literally cried in my soup. I was so happy to eat this fantastic authentic cuisine.

What amazes me is how they get the food served so quickly, even when busy. I have to admit, I lied by giving 5 stars to the "atmosphere" rating but thats because everything else is a 6 out of 5 and I didn't want to bring down the average.

I took my daughter there today, she had a curry which was very tasty and I had charbroiled ribs that were sooooo good. We had enough leftovers for my dinner. Even with drinks the bill was less than $20.

I think every small town has its secrets - and this is ours. The Saigon Noodle House Restaurant has the absolute tastiest food and best value in the area. It's in a strip-mall behind Wendy's and Tim Horton's. There's no ambiance - unless you're into hanging plastic fruit and formica tables but you absolutely can't beat the flavour, taste and value of the food these wonderful people put in front of you. You'll get chuckles from the decor and from the translated menu, but when the food hits your place setting - you'll be too busy munching to surface for a while. For about 10 years, my husband hasn't been able to get past the fried meat spring rolls (item 10)...I'm trying hard to vary my meals and taste everything on the menu, but it's hard because you will find your exquisite favorites. Their soups are incredible; the salad bowls (vermicelli...carrot...cucumber... pork fillets or chicken or whatever) are fantastic and all meals are large enough to fill up for our local loggers, miners or fishermen... The prices are ridiculously low; $3.50 for 4 meat spring rolls with dipping sauce; about $7.50 for an enormous lunch (you'll probably skip dinner and reminisce). And service is very fast. Once tried out, you'll likely be back. Work your way through the menu like I am. I'm trying to find something I don't love, to help narrow down selections. I haven't managed yet.

Because they're so all-round GOOD, the restaurant is full of business people at noon. That being said - they're great and fast on take-out food. Their prawn salad rolls are very popular, Wow. Oh - and hints. Bring cash - they don't take debit cards. And they're closed on Mondays, incidently, so you won't be able to eat there 7 days a week even if you want to.
