We chose this lodge from the Tripadvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. It was a most comfortable accommodation with the added pleasure of heated floors in the bathroom and heated towel bars as well. The owners were very helpful and friendly and obviously take great pride in their establishment. The mural on the end of the building and along the mini golf course were very interesting. There is no restaurant on the premises, but several choices in Cranbrook. The gift of chocolate upon arrival is a very nice touch. We would highly recommend this lodge for anyone travelling in the area.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back are quiet. There are stairs so that might be a consideration in choosing room...

Stayed at Elizabeth Lake Lodge in Cranbrook for one night last week. What a fantastic lodge! It is so comfortable, extremely clean, and very relaxing! Phoned this place for a reservation about 3 hours before we got to Cranbrook. I talked with someone (sorry I forgot your name!) who was very pleasant and explained what the rooms were like. We picked a suite for $158.20 including tax. When we arrived and checked in met with the owners who checked us in quickly and efficiently also offering us some fantastic chocolate! Showed us up to the suite which was immaculate! The suite even had a Murphy bed that was behind the bookcase! The bookcase was filled with many books including a big selection of kids books. The bathroom floor was heated and the towel rack was even heated! Really nice soaps in the bathroom.
There was also mini golf attached to the lodge. We didn't try it but everyone that was playing were having a great time. Our suite had a really compacted and nice kitchen with pretty well anything you would need. Oh and the bed was glorious!! The owners must be soooo very proud of this property!! You guys have a little piece of heaven there!!!!! Thanks so much!

Room Tip: Room 36 was where we stayed

We stayed over for 2 nights. George was extremely helpful and welcoming. On the second floor, we overlooked the bird sanctuary, of which we walked the trails in the evening. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Pleasant, warm, cozy colours. Everything appeared to be new condition. These are the cleanest accomodations we have ever stayed in. I give the Elizabeth Lake Lodge highest recommendations!

Room Tip: If possible, choose the second floor facing towards the bird sanctuary. Quite and peaceful.

We stayed here for just one night on our way across to Vancouver. The hospitality we received was second to none. The owners clearly take great pride in their Lodge and go that extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. We were given chocolate for the adults and delicious freshly squeezed apple juice for the children on our arrival . George ( owner) also brought a jug of fresh milk and PG Tips teabags to our room. The rooms are beautifully furnished . The English beds were very comfortable. Our 9yr old son declared that his bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that he had ever slept in - and he has slept in many . As we checked out George asked if there was anything that could be improved on - our response was an emphatic no .
The mini golf course was beautifully maintained like the rest of the property - and great fun ! We would certainly stay here again .

We found this hotel on trip advisor and the positve reviews were bang on. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and quiet and the backview was wonderful. There is a walking path behind the hotel wihich we enjoyed. The rooms were cozy and clean and the price is very reasonable. A must stay in Cranbrook.
