“Great weekend getaway”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

We booked a weekend stay and play deal that popped up on my facebook. It was openig day at the course this past Saturday - very enjoyable to finally get out! Booking was easy with Hollie and the service all weekend was great. We golfed a couple rounds on Saturday, ate at the Fisher Peak, 19th Hole and Fred's. Fisher Peak was the best food of the three, but service was really friendly everywhere. Pet friendly rooms were an added bonus. I would look for and book this deal any chance I got!

St. Eugene is by far the nicest place to stay in Cranbrook. It is a little out of the way, but that (along with the restaurant/pub) only enhances the property. You don't want to leave! Staff is helpful and friendly. We don't gamble, but there are many other fun activities here.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at St. Eugene Resort in March 2013. We enjoyed the casino (non-smoking in Canada), the restaurants and the accommodations. It was a beautiful area to drive through. The property had great food and an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. Less than a 4 hour drive from Spokane, WA.

What a great two day get away! From the room in the main historic building to the fine dining available (even in the hotel lounge) everything was amazing. Fed my very minor gambling addition in the casino as well with the penny machines and only lost $12.00 in 3 visits.

The dining (food and service) was top notch. Even the flat bread pizza was created on fried bannock bread keeping the native traditions alive. Absolutely delicious.

Our room in the main building faced the golf course which was lovely. The room itself had beautiful linen as well as an original exposed brick wall. Great views from the pool area and a very well appointed gym. We can not say enough about what a great stay we had. We will return without a doubt.

Room Tip: Be sure to get up before the first tee time to enjoy the cart path through the golf course. Great f...

Do not be concerned that you are staying in a remodelled school as the architect did a superb job in turning the interior of the building into a luxury property. The rooms are trimmed in wood and brick, equipped with capuccino makers and have top of the line beds and bedding. The large flat screen has free movie channels and games. The setting is superb. Right on a golf course it has the Rockies as a back drop. There is a add on wing that we did not stay in that is a lower price and may not be as nice. Ask. The gym is small be well equipped and there is an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The Casino is small but nice with free entertainment on the weekend. We are skiers and liked that Kimberly was only a 15 minuite drive. Cranbrook is 10 mins away. We will be back to try the golf. We booked with Groupon Getaways and got a fantastic dea but check their website as well. The restaurant is excellent. Try the weekend Asia feast.

Room Tip: The rooms in the main building are very nice.

This was a birthday gift for my wife and we really enjoyed the evening. Supper and breakfast were great. Entertainment at the casino was really good. Used the hottub and steam room and they were very clean. The only thing that was not looked after was the extra request we asked for, the place wasn't that busy, no mention at check in time. Would definitely go back.

Room Tip: we stayed in the mission part, large room high ceilings and quiet.

This was my second stay at the resort and I anticipate coming back. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. There is a lounge/restaurant open for dinner and while the food and service have always been top notch, the menu for may be seen as a little pricey for some. There's an array of things to do... Golf, need i say more?! If you're into poker there is a casino that holds cash games on Friday's and tournament style poker on Monday's. There's also an outdoor pool and hot tub for those wanting to soak the day away.Overall, great service, staff and stay!
