“Unfortunately we couldn't walk with the wolves”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

We drove to the wolf centre to book a walk with the wolves for Sunday. They didn't have enough staff for Sunday so we ended up just doing the 20 minute interpretive program. The lady was nice and very informative. I would maybe go again if I could walk with them and take photos. The place is a bit run down and could use some TLC.

“Howl With The Wolves”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

This sanctuary for injured wolves or abandoned cubs is quite fascinating and well worth the drive to (well, near to) Orange B.C. if you're in the area. It's run on a shoestring by knowledgeable volunteers who will give you a tour and a talk whilst you and these magnificent creatures examine each other. They're nothing like as scary to see as the legends tell us and you come away with much more respect for their beauty and intelligence. And yes, you do get to howl with the wolves - it's quite an experience!

“Up close with wolves”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

First off I hate to give a bad review so I am not really going to focus on the negitives of this place.

If you are a fan of wolves or have never seen a wolve than this is a place to come as it was a romantic setting with us, the eight wolves and the worker explaining different information about the wolves. A lot of information about wolves and the balance that wolves bring to the natural enviroment could have kept us there all day.

The driver was very easy but as stated in other review the road was narrow and snow covered but not much of an issue if you are used to driving in the snow.

Only Negitive - these wolves have been raised by the ownwer from such a young age that they are almost nothing more that domesticated dogs that are caged outside. while they are still wolves and should be treated with respect this are not your typical wild wolves seen in the nature as they are used to human contact.

“We learned lots”
Reviewed January 16, 2014

Great interpretive center on wolves, where the passionate owners will teach you more than you could ever know about wolves in 20 minutes. The drive out is very pretty and easy to find however in the dead of winter if you don't have good tires or a 4x4 you may wanna be warned its a typical rural road yet steep in spots.
We saw all 8 wolves, however i think they should extend the cages on their property as they seem a bit small for 4 wild animals.

“If you haven't seen a wolf”
Reviewed December 30, 2013 via mobile

If you have never seen a wolf then this is your chance. You won't get close to them unless you go on a walk with the wolves. Depending on the wolves actually on the walk with you will be the deciding point if these ones are comfortable with humans or not. The people running this seem to have the wolves at heart and care about them. The premises are a little run down but dont let that deter you from having a look.
