Myself and my wife stayed here for two nights whilst in Golden and this was the best property we stayed at during our time in Canada.

This is a beautiflul house and the design is much better than the other B&Bs we stayed at in Canada as there is so much space for guests. There is a large lounge and kitchen for guests as well as a nice decked area so plenty of room to relax and enjoy the views as well as the option to use the outdoor hot tub.

The rooms are nice and big and in very good condition. The breakfast is excellent with fresh made food and plenty of options. As a nice touch a menu is passed under your door each morning complete with a forecast for the day.

Heather and Bob were great hosts and gave us recommendations for dinner as well as vouchers to use to get a discount and some venues.

The only slight negative is that we did need to drive to go out in the evening, however this was compensated by the excellent communal facilities so that were able to enjoy a bottle of wine on the decking area!

This was my first experience ever staying at a B&B, and it couldn't have been more wonderful! The house is absolutely gorgeous, and Heather and Bob were wonderful host. After a long drive from Jasper we arrived to the smell of fresh baked goods, Heather showed us around and gave us some helpful information, which ended up saving us a lot of money. In the first case, we were thinking about going up the mountain, to see the views (around $27.00/30.00 per person) at which she pointed you it was fairly cloudy and we wouldn't see much, unless it cleared. Common sense, you might say, but it didn't cross my mind at all or my boyfriend. In the second case we had reservations at an amazing restaurant, Cedar House, and assumed it wouldn't be a big cost to cab there and back. We could have drove but we have saved Golden to be the splurge of the trip in terms of accommodations & food, and we didn't want to worry about driving. Heather had looked into it and said it would be about $30.00 each way, and offered some helpful solutions, in the end one of their friends that was staying there offered us a drive there to save us cab money one way! I couldn't believe how amazing that was, it was definitely one the highlights of the trip, no question! In fact, we loved La Beausoleil so much we are hoping to make a return trip in the winter season. From relaxing in the hot tub to a delicious breakfast, I could not recommend a better place to stay with amazing and friendly hosts!!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of August and had a wonderful time. We chose Golden as we find Banff becoming more and more busy. We wanted to relax and RELAX we did. Bob and Heather were great hosts with an amazingly beautiful B&B. The house decor alone with the open concept, took my breath away. The views of the downtown Golden, Kicking Horse and the river are superb. There is no way anyone would feel hungry after eating the tasty breakfast in the morning.

My husband was able to get a challenging round of golf in. I was able to read and finish a book in the backyard. We hiked and relaxed in the hot tub. All in all an excellent way to wind down from a busy summer. Eating a Whitetooh is a must. The food is divine and the wine list is extensive. Also, the sushi at Nagomi is truly excellent and a wonderful surprise for a small town.

Hello and thank you for writing such a great review. Its very much appreciated. We're glad you enjoyed your staff at Le Beausoleil and had time to relax and unwind. The Golden Golf Club is a gem and we hope you and your husband will come back again to both stay with us ang play more rounds at the course. Golden is fortunate to have many great restaurants and Eleven Twenty Two is certainly one of them. Don't forget to try some of the others the next time.

Heather and I hope to see you again in the not too distant future............Bob

My wife and I spent three nights at Le Beausoleil (August 14 - 16) easily our best B&B experience yet ... and we B&B a lot. Bob and Heather are accommodating, friendly, helpful and best of all hospitable. You're made to feel as though you have the run of the house and the setting couldn't be nicer. We met fabulous folks from Ireland, France and the U.S. with whom we shared stories over breakfast. Oh, and speaking of breakfast, full on great ... homemade granola (downright yummy), three types of homemade waffles - gluten free, lactose free and regular and homemade bagels. So if you're wanting to stay at a 5+ B&B Le Beausoleil will not disappoint.

My wife and I stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon. Overall it was a worthwhile stay with a comfortable bed, friendly hosts and a delicious homemade breakfast in the morning. Other bonuses are the hot tub, the spectacular view and the proximity to some of the excellent restaraunts that Golden has to offer.
