Bob and Heather and great hosts. They have quite a bit of helpful advice on where on the hill to find some good snow (assuming it's not dumping all over the place), good places to eat in town and even things to bring with you to avoid having to buy in town. Breakfast consisted of some good home baked goods and some delicious home made hot oatmeal mixed with fruit which was to die for. Rooms are large, common areas are massive and beds are comfy. All in all I would absolutely go back! And bring swim trunks for the hot tub!

Room Tip: The rooms are large. The two on the bottom floor are adjacent to the common area, for us that was perfect since at the time there weren't any other guests so we ended up having the common area pretty much to ourselves. If there were noisy guests using the common area I guess it could be a downside though. If you needed two rooms I would choose both rooms on the bottom floor if available since you'd end up with almost your own little family/friends suite!

We stayed at the kicking horse lodge on the 24 and 25th of february but we didn't like it as much as THIS B&B! Very nice and courteous people + Amos with a large BEAUTIFUL home to share. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The bathrooms, located near every room, are clean and beautiful. The hot tub is amazing and relaxing, while you enjoy one of the best view in town. And the breakfast, don't get me started on breakfast. AMAZING, diverse and absolutely delicious!!! You're not going to leave with an empty stomach thats for sure!!

And very affordable! :)

We wanted to visit the Kicking Horse Ski resort this month so I set about finding some where to stay. I read the reviews for this B & B and thought it was just us! We were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome by Heather & Bob. The room was cosy, bed comfortable and bathroom next door beautifully decorated. The hot tub was very inviting after a day's skiing.I agree with adams 1967 review.

We stayed for a couple of nights in this beautiful home, with Bob and Heather (and Amos the black labrador), who are warm, gracious and friendly hosts. The view was fantastic, the hot tub perfect, beds supremely comfortable, the rooms cosy and quiet and the breakfasts a feast of healthy, homemade perfection. I cannot speak highly enough of this idyllic B & B - we will be back on our next trip to Canada and Bob has promised a personal tour of the Kicking Horse Ski Resort!

Room Tip: upstairs rooms have sublime views

We travelled through Golden on our way to Vancouver in January. It was cold and snowy out but Heather and Bob's (and of course Amos the dog) welcome was very warm and friendly! Le Beausoleil is a great alternative to roadside motels with a good sized bedroom, great views towards the mountains, a deliciously healthy breakfast - all combined with Heather and Bob's local knowledge which helped us find a wonderful restaurant for dinner and tips on local ski areas.
