Description: Corks features an unparalleled mountain dining experience that has reinvigorated the culinary scene at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The restaurant has been under new ownership and creative leadership since November 2014 and has quickly created a loyal following of foodie fans. The incredible kitchen team has created a carefully chosen, inspired menu that is as refreshing and memorable as the area's stunning mountain backdrop. Corks has a passion for locally sourced food and wines from British Columbia. Here you can sample all the comfort food classics such as elk, beef and pork all served with a unique Corks twist while sipping on a perfectly paired pour from the Pacific Northwest. Corks Restaurant is conveniently located at Copper Horse Lodge, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort's only boutique hotel. The warmth and character of the lodge spills over into the restaurant and makes you feel as though you have just stepped into one of your closest friend's homes for an evening of great conversation and even greater food. Copper Horse Lodge and Corks Restaurant is the perfect combination for intimate events including weddings, family gatherings and corporate retreats.

“Great food and excellent service”
Reviewed August 14, 2011

The meals were well prepared by the chef and they had enough of a variety to choose from. The meals were a good portion and very tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxing and you did not feel rushed. The wine selection was good. The service was great. We has several meals there during our stay and they were most enjoyable.

“horrible”
Reviewed March 20, 2011

food - terrible. the steaks were super fatty
service - sub-par. it was like we were a burden for our waitress. we waited 20mins for water.
we were told to come back in an hour when the restaurant was empty.
the best part was leaving, and that took 30mins. the credit card machine broke, and the bartender said "just do i chinese reset". that ment to unplug it and plug it in. very un-professional. i would never go there again. this is Kicking Horse fine dining!?!?!?!? we had better food and service at Peaks Grill

“The menu contains a dish to die for...”
Reviewed August 5, 2010

We dined at Corks twice during our stay at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. I was lucky enough to sample the Sockeye Salmon dish the second time I ate there. It was delicious!
Overall we found the food and service excellent. It was one of our favourite places to eat during our two week stay in Canada.
Slightly more expensive than your average restaurant, but we personally think the food was worth the expense.

“Golden Favorite”
Reviewed January 12, 2010

Just returned from Golden after spending 10 days at the lodge. We ate their daily for breakfast as it is included in the room rate, selection and quality at breakfast was outstanding. For dinner we did move around and ultimately ate at Corks 3 times, every time it was fantastic. Great selection of food and wine especially if you like BC wines which i do. Friendly and prompt service at all times. Reservations are recommended as the are usually full in season and they get a lot of walk-ins. Paul is the maitre'd and owner and will make you feel right at home. Another restaurant not listed in TA but highly recommended is the Whitetooth Bistro in town, excellent bison meatloaf.
