Upon arriving at the course, our golf bags were immediately taken from us and we were told to go park. After that, it was sort of a "figure it out for yourself" sort of affair. We made our way inside to check in, found our cart & clubs, made our way down to the driving range and then returned to the first tee box. Oops! Turns out there are two courses and we were at the wrong one. No apologies from anyone for not explaining things to us so we sped over to the correct course and made it one minute before our tee time.
We golfed the Ridge course...amazing course and I loved every second of it. Undulating fairways, challenging but fair greens, scenery beyond belief. But the MAJOR downfall...no real snack shack on the course. The course does not pass by the clubhouse so you really have to rely on the cart service. Even basic courses have a stop for some hot food so to not have access to this, not be told about it, and to pay pretty high green fees...not in balance.
The other complaints - while the carts have coolers, nobody bothered to put any ice in them, and the carts barely had any juice in them to get us back to the clubhouse...we actually thought ours might die on the final hill. Never experienced that before.
I would definitely golf here again...like I said...loved the course. But bring your own ice and bring your own snacks if you don't like golf cart sandwiches for lunch.
