I live and the valley and, hands down, this is the finest place to eat in the area. The service is warm and consistent. The dishes are unbelievably excellent. Dietary needs are easily accommodated and, though a slightly pricier menu, dollar value is more than met. When talking with visitors this is my hands down recommendation.

Our server was a bit slow and inattentive. My friend's meal (Beef Duo) was very good, but mine had been under a heat lamp for quite a period and not quite up to par for the cost.

Service was really good..... Pepper corn steak was average....atmosphere was ok..... I was chilled.... Overall ok experience... we were looking for a quiet romantic night, but the place was pretty loud. food was average. Didnt blow us away. Would return with a few friends but not for the romantic evening we were seeking.

Staying at Panorama with some friends, in order to play golf at the spectacular Gray Wolf golf course, we decided to have dinner at Birchwood one night. This was on the recommendation of our server at the golf course's Carricks Pub.
We had no trouble getting a reservation, and in fact when we arrived most of the tables were empty. Not a good sign! Still, as the evening went on more and more people arrived. Our waitress had to call for reinforcements, as the Monday before they had served only two people. So the service was understandably slow, with now 40 or 50 customers. Yet every dish was cooked to perfection, and with an unusual set of ingredients. Seasonal vegetables had been worked into the cuisine. My husband had a large pork chop -- excellent. I had shrimp and chicken with rice noodles--perfect. OUr friends both had the seafood risotto, and polished off every bite. We had a wine that we could not identify to save ourselves, but it was perfect with our dinners. I highly recommend this new restaurant, and I wish them huge success.

What a great hidden place. It's off of Main St. so it seems quieter. The atmosphere was relaxing & dark with some great music playing in the background. The food was fantastic & not the run-of-the-mill fare. Check it out!
