While away on a weekend i was led to the bakery to see about purchasing a gluten free pizza crust and out of the many crusts i've tried since learning i had celiac this one will definitely be close to the top of the list.
The woman who helped me said there were the fresh ones to choose from as well as frozen and 2 different kinds ( one being more dense the other a lighter version ) i opted for the lighter and was so pleased i did.
Also while in the bakery i was steered towards a few gluten free/wheat free chocolate deserts that i must admit looked amazing. I did indulge in one of the dark chocolate truffle type deserts and mmm.. it was delicious.
I am always quite leery of trying bakeries that offer gluten free as i am so sensitive i find i get very sick.. but that was not the case in this situation. I did not ask about their routines or methods of preparing ( mostly because i was so very hungry and just didn't think to ask) but in future visits i do believe i will inquire just out of curiosity.
over all i recommend visiting the Quality Bakery if you are in Invermere and are looking for something to eat. I saw many options for gluten free breads and some boxed items as well, if you are in the area for a bit and have access to a kitchen.
