Went on a Sunday evening after a hard day of snowboarding. They were pretty full so we sat the small bar overlooking the kitchen. We were intrigued at just how smooth, organized and meticulous their operation was. The chef provided the entertainment for the evening that's for sure! The food was several steps ahead of average eateries. My husband had the St. Louis ribs and I indulged in the curry coconut soup & the warm mushroom salad. The ingredients were fresh and well picked. The flavours all worked very well together and the portions were big. On top of it all it was affordable. Roughly $60 for 2 alcoholic drinks and 2 entrees including tax. Don't miss out!

We chose Re-Lish our first night in Nelson because it was close to the Baker Street Inn hotel and didn't require a reservation. I actually expected an Asian restaurant which once was located in this building, but was pleasantly surprised. We ordered beer (NBC ales and stout) and a glass of white wine; good drinks but nothing to rave about. We then ordered house salad (Nelson restaurants always seem to do very good salads), winter veggie soup, a Mayan burger, butternut squash ravioli and fisherman's pie, and everyone enjoyed their food. My fisherman's pie was excellent; a side of perfectly cooked winter vegetables, and shrimp, scallops and big prawns in a delicious cream sauce topped with browned mashed potatoes. We finished with very good coffees and tea. Our server was engaging, answered any questions we had, and checked on us at perfect intervals. Plus the cost of the meal was I thought very reasonable. The one issue is that seating is limited and tight, but this location has always suffered from this problem and we expected it. At the west end of Baker Street, I would say Re-Lish is a place one should not miss.

Thank you for rating rel-ish on trip advisor. In the winter months our capacity is 40 seats, in the summer we expand with another 40 seats on our patio. We love our cozy atmosphere as we feel our customers receive better service this way.

Saturday night supper was perfect in this relaxed and trendy restaurant. I am a repeat visitor at lunchtime but this was my first supper here and I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed the days "special" and loved the roasted beets and root veg that came with it. Wine selection is good with BC wines a feature. Service was great. Supper unhurried and very very good altogether! I will be back. We did make a reservation and am glad we did because each table was occupied.

We went for dinner early on a Saturday and were able to get right in without a reservation. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our server made great suggestions and steered us in the right directions with both the wine and menu. The boys (9 and 11) loved the ribs and the squid appetizers. My wife had the roasted beet salad which is huge and awesome. I had the Mayan burger which was super too! Price for the quality of food was reasonable. Dinner with appetizers and drinks (no desserts) came to $100. Everyone agreed that it was the best dinner out that we had had in a long time. We will be back!

We had been in Nelson for a few days and were staying in a hotel and had been to The Library pub and Rics grill which are your typical pub restaurants. Being foodies we wanted to check out some of the local hot spots for food and were told by some fellow Yogis that Rel-ish was the best and they were right! The drinks are unique and amazing! I had a quinoa salad and a coconut Thai inspired soup and it was delicious. The boys had burgers and really enjoyed them! We enjoyed it so much we will be going back for our last night in Nelson! The place is small so make a reservation, the waitress was really sweet and helpful. Best experience for food in Nelson! Highly recommend!
