“Visit to Nelson”
Reviewed July 31, 2014

Arrive at Nelson to be told no dogs are allowed on Baker Street, a old bylaw that really needs to be changed. So my partner drops me off and goes down by the river with our dog. At +34 just to hot to leave a dog in a car.
Some very unusual shops, lots of places to eat, but with a dog it's a no go area, so to be honest I did not spend any money as had to rush round, and did not buy anything to eat.
Cottonwood falls park was beautiful, there was a market on with it being a Saturday, but that got cut short, with a phone call from my partner to say a man in a truck had knocked him over reversing and didn't stop, two older ladies tried to flag the truck down but he drove off.
So being to Nelson and will not be going back again, at least till there change the dog bylaw!!!!

“Funky, Fun Heart of Nelson”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

Raw vegan food store, ROAM (Rivers, Ocean and Mountain) store, Vintage used books, and more make for great wind-shopping and real buying and eating! An enjoyable stroll through a charming slice of interior BC.

“Walk back in time!”
Reviewed July 20, 2014

Nice walk. Like walking down the street in the 60's. Cute little stores! The prices were a bit high but the ambiance was worth it.
