We were staying in a motel but didn't want to cook breakfast. The motel owner recommended the Blue Door Cafe.
It's nothing fancy - far from it: it's almost what we'd call 'a greasy spoon' here in the UK, but the food is great, the price is good and the service is excellent. What more could a hungry person want?
You can sit at a table or at the counter facing the griddle where your food's being cooked. The staff are friendly and efficient. You can have eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries, ham or whatever cooked just the way you want it. Help yourself to tea and coffee in nice big mugs.
It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either - just excellent value.
