Great choices in fresh fish and chips. Excellent. Cool older building which comes with great service. Can be busy.

“Best Fish and Chips”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

We were Port Alberni for a meeting and discovered this place. We went for their special where one can sample the different choices of fish, salads and French fries. The meal was awesome and very delicious. Thanks to the waitress for helping in making the selections for us. It was a pleasant surprise and beyond our expectations.

“An interesting twist on fish and chips”
Reviewed March 31, 2014

Found this place by chance as we were making our way over to the west coast. Your choice of fish, prepared in one of three ways, with a variety of dipping sauces. All served in a converted church. Instead of something battered, I went for the fire-grilled halibut and it was excellent... I didn't end up using the dipping sauces, because they overpowered the delicious flavour of the fish.

“Best Fish and Chips outside the UK”
Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

We have not had better fish and chips since visiting the UK. The fish - both the cod and halibut - were extremely fresh and perfectly cooked! You have a great selection of combinations to choose from in the way the fish cooked, the sides, and sauces. They even have a wasabi based sauce that was fantastic. And to top it off the fact it is in an old church adds to the experience. Finally, the staff was very friendly which for us was one young lady taking care of the entire dining room. Great place!

“Good Value, Excellent Service”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We have been several times and have always found the food service and prices to be very good. The setting in an old church is unique and the decor is fitting. Sitting out on the street on a nice day is great for people watching
