If you're in this part of Port Coquitlam looking for food, you're either on your lunch break or you're hopelessly lost. In either case, you're in luck.
Why is this place here? This is a factory where Mexican foods are made for retail stores and restaurants throughout the region. The restaurant in front was an afterthought.
Their slogan is "food redefined". I disagree completely. There's nothing redefined about it. It's exactly the kind of Mexican food served at taco shops in Southern California, but done skillfully and with high-quality ingredients. The kitchen is open, so you can see how clean and well-maintained everything is. You can also see the staff preparing your food.
The menu is quite extensive for a cafe. For the simple stuff, you're not limited to just beef or chicken, they have pork and fish tacos as well. They also have authentic soups, enchiladas, tamales, and fajitas. Even desserts like flan. They're not licensed, which is probably for the best considering that their regular customers include forklift operators.
