This mountain sees some of the best powder skiing in the world. I have lived here all my life and have people from around the world come and stay with our family each winter, and every one of our guests have commented that this has been the best skiing/boarding they have ever experienced!

I have lived in Revelstoke for a year and a half and absolutely love it here. Revelstoke mountain resort is my favourite place to ride. Great people and great views but it is not really a beginners mountain.

We had a group of 3 serious skiers from Colorado that went on this trip and we came away thinking this was the best inbound skiing experience of our lives. The hike to terrain is incredible...cliffs, sustained steeps, deep pow. Our 1st day there we had over a foot of fresh and there were only 1,700 skiers on the mountain! Go to Vail, CO and you'll be skiing with 50,000 on a powder day. Aside from the skiing the scenery is gorgeous...I just hope the place can stay afloat given the lack of visitors. This is truly a unique inbounds experience and I feel fortunate to have skied it.

This place kicks butt. The snow is sick and the mountain has more vertical than Jackson Hole Wyoming. It is wonderful. Cool retail store, great places to eat and a great staff. You are only 4 minutes from downtown Revelstoke to the Revelsotke Mountain Resort. The staff comes from all over the world. Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing is also associtaed with RMR and is a great stop as well on the "crazy" skiing experience. We could live in this little pace in the middle of the mountains....The town had great little shops and hole-in-the-wall coffee shops. You have to try Revelsotke BC. We live an hour down the road in Salmon Arm BC and Revelstoke is a great choice for the avid ski/snowboarder.
