“Best Pub Food I've Had”
Reviewed December 13, 2011

I stopped in at this pub on a trip to Calgary recently and was very surprised! The food was possibly the best pub food I have ever eaten ( and I've eaten at a few pubs around the world!!). The burgers were big and juicy and the salad my girlfriend ate was delicious - a peanut chicken salad.. Our friends had a steak sandwich and shepherds pie which they both raved about. A nice surprise, will be going back next time I pass through Revelstoke for sure!!!

“Definitely Going Back!”
Reviewed October 10, 2011

This is not the first time I have been to this pub and it won't be the last. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed, the priced fair and the food delicious! I don't know who they have in the kitchen or who did the menu planning but their creamy clam chowder (which is a daily menu item) is some of the best I have ever tasted; There is no better place for a big juicy burger; The pear and blue cheese salad has you scraping the bottom of the bowl for every last little morsel...and if you have a sweet tooth, the homemade peanut butter chocolate cake proves time and time again why it is a locals favorite. This hidden little pub (which doesn't look like much from the outside) is one of the absolute best places for lunch in Revelstoke, no question about it.

“Just reopened under new ownership and is...”
Reviewed October 8, 2010

Just reopened under new ownership and is called the Big Eddy PUB.
I ordered the pork and biscuits and although the concept was good it didn't work. The biscuits are dry and the gravy was too oily and thick to make up for it. There was nothing else on the plate, no garnishes, nothin' eventhough it was one of the most expensive items on the menu.
