It was our first time to Revelstoke - a weekend skiers getaway and this was one of the suggested restaurants from the B&B we were at.
Our waitress was very polite, but by no fault of hers we could tell that she was being stretched in providing her service. We had only one drink for our table and it took 30 mins to be served to him.
Our table was right beside the entry / exit to the banquet room where we found out after the fact that it was the heliskiing group. They were very loud when they started coming in/out of that room.
We understand that people are there to have a good time, but please, be considerate of the other diners in the main restaurant. They are paying customers too.
When it was time to order, we weren't told right away that the kitchen had already run out of some dishes, so my husband ordered the pasta, but didn't eat it all. He didn't feel it was worthy of an expensive dish and it threw his appetite way off.
I asked for my lamb rack to be medium well, but I was served a more rare lamb.
I would suggest that in times that you do expect to be busy with the "big groups" to have more staff on in the main dining area, so they don't feel neglected.
