“Older Facility but Well Kept”

This was one of the most reasonable hotels in an overpriced market in a town with little to offer. We had one of the three rooms available upstairs. Good sized room but kinda noisy with the road outside. Breakfast was ok, bed comfortable. Had those darn tiny pillows though.

Room Tip: Stay downstairs.

This was a great little place to stay. It is very comfortable, clean and affordable. I was travelling alone on my way to B.C. from Alberta and just needed one night. The room is very small but it has everything you need, TV, internet and then a nice breakfast. The train track is just across the road so that is a bit rumbly but I just stuck in earplugs and I slept fine. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as a family for two nights,as a stopover on a trip to and from Calgary. This place is well maintained and well managed. Our rooms though basic, were spotless with good sturdy pine furniture. The breakfast, served with real dishes, had a generous assortment of items including waffles, home made muffins, juices , eggs and cereals. The two BR spacious family unit we booked on the way back was very comfortable for our adult children and was very reasonably priced.

If you are looking for an overnight in Revelstoke, look no further. This hotel is very well mantained, clean and reasonably priced. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms with one bed and found it comfortable and relatively quiet. There were trains going by and there was some noise from the highway but it was not bad. The breadkfast was good similar to any of the big chains offering breakfast, served up in a nice bright room. This place is not fancy, but for an overnight stop on the highway it is more than adequate.

Room Tip: Ask for the internet special!

When we entered our small room, we were struck by a strong and unpleasant smell, as if the room hadn't been aired for ages. On top of that we realized that the train passed nearby about every 10 minutes, making a lot of noise (not even mentioning the highway)... If you go there, bring a pair of ear plugs as walls are super thin! We've stayed in similar accommodations offering much more comfort than Swiss Chalet. However, it is worth noting that the place was spotless - even more surprising considering the terrible smell -, and breakfast was more than acceptable for a motel. All in all, I would recommend travelers to stay somewhere else when stopping over in Revelstoke.

We had one of those 'adventures' that tends to happen when one is on a long move. We had lost the key to the padlock to our UHaul. EVERYTHING was in the UHaul. Our suitcases were in the UHaul...
We approached the fellow in the breakfast area/front desk and asked him if he knew where the closest hardware store was, hoping to pick up tools to get past the lock.
He immediately went into his own tool supply and within MINUTES we had access to our suitcases! Everything was done so quickly and with such a positive attitude.

The breakfast by the way, had a good variety and the beds were comfy. A very good stopover on our way to Alberta.

Would like to spend a night in a very clean, comfortable and affortable place while passing through Revelstoke? Swiss Chalet Motel is our choice. The room assigned to us was small, enough for us to move around but the cleanliness is impeccable, bathroom was well lit, water pressure is superb. Staff professionalism shows up immediately as soon as we walked into the reception, which double up as breakfast area. Yes, with the amount you pay, it is still free continental breakfast, good food choices as well. Will definitely tell others how beautiful this small motel is.
