Nice drive up, walked to the summit. If you have time and some level of fitness take the Eva lake hike. We went to Miller lake. It took us 3.5 hours. Walk has a bit of everything, wildflowers +the buzzing of bees, rocky paths, meadows. A nice hike on a not too hot day.

The road way up the mountain is this year in excellent condition. During the climb you pass through the different levels of forest. At the top are some good trails to walk.

Wonderful views all the way to the top. Many hiking trails at the top. Be careful if you use the van to take you up the last mile. The step is really high (my wife injured her leg). Overall, it is well worth the time.

This is a 26km upward winding drive with great look out points. Great views of Revelstoke and great trails at the top.

Why not? The shuttle will take you the last kilometer. A short walk from the shuttle drop area leads to a fire tower with a summit sign. The road up is in great condition. We went on a Tuesday early this July and there was hardly anyone up there at 10am or at 3pm when we finished our hike. Lots of cool walks to do at the top too. Wildflowers all along the road. Although it was too early season at the top for more than one or two varieties. I imagine this place is all in bloom first week in August. The road is not cleared in the winter of snow, so do not go too early. July-September is probably the only time to go. Bring bug spray if walking around.
