This is a great hotel, wonderful personal service the 2 nights we stayed, plus brilliant value for the family suite (2 rooms & 2 ensuite). We had meals in the steakhouse & they were really nice - recommend the salmon & lamb rack. The only complaint was the noise from the bar, or more accurately the street. We had a room ( really lovely) the other end of the hotel from the bar/pub, but we still heard the banter from customers until 2.30am. When we mentioned it in the morning the staff sympathised - drinkers on the street are hard to control. Real shame.

Room Tip: As far away from the pub as possible

We stayed at the Regent following a one week cruise from Vancouver, tired and exhausted. We had a large family (6), and wanted 1 room that we could rest for the night and continue our drive home to Alberta. Several hotels in town said we had to get two rooms, no cots were allowed. I decided to check the Regent. They were very accomidating to us and gave us an incredible stay. The room was very spacious (2 beds, sofa and cot) and clean. The views were amazing and the 112 restaurant was awesome. Overall I would suggest this to anyone and will definatly stay here again.

Have stayed at the Regent at least 4 times, with the latest visit Sept.29/2012. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly, helpful, informative staff. Generous continental breakfast included in the room price. It is very centrally located, free parking, and you are within walking distance of the downtown core. Make sure you visit the Museum, interesting artifacts and history of the town, as well as a well stocked gift shop. Best of all, the locals are very friendly.

Check in was very pleasant and efficient. Our room with double queen beds was impeccably clean and well appointed. We had a restful night of sleep in a very quiet room. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was delightful with excellent food and service. Continental breakfast was included with generous options in a bright and cheerful dining room. We felt that we received excellent value and would definitely choose the Regent Inn whenever we might return to Revelstoke.

Stayed here on business. This hotel has a great location in the heart of town. Everything about the hotel has character. The hotel has obviously been updated, but certainly kept original charms.

A bit strange having the sink in the closet, but does make sense having it separate from the bathroom. Very comfortable bed.

Could hear a lot of noise when someone was out in the hall. No iron in the room, so be sure to request it before you're running late in the morning and realize it!

Would definitely stay here again.

We stumbled upon this hotel in the heart of downtown Revelstoke by parking in the parking lot, next to the information centre. We were a party of four and requested a double room, to save costs. We were given a choice of two rooms with queen beds and were given keys to both rooms to view them before we made a booking.
We chose room 247 which had a seperate spacious bedroom and and additional room with a queen bed. Each room in the unit had its own tv. The rooms were beautiful and smelled clean and fresh, beds were comfy and had lovely, soft pillows and the bathroom had a tub and shower. We had a view on the mountain, but unfortunately, the noise from the vents, from the kitchen, which were outside the room, were too noisy to open the window, and we found the room to be hot and stuffy. There was no coffee machine or wine glasses etc in the room, but there is a really great restaurant and a bar in the hotel where you can find what you need. A light continental breakfast was included in a tastefully decorated room. The hotel has a hot tub/jacuzzi and is within walking distance to all that downtown Revelstoke has to offer, Parking was free. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.
