My wife and I drove into Revelstoke wanting to stay somewhere off the #1 highway . We saw the Regent Inn and decieded to give it a try . The staff were very freindly and helpful ! Our room was very clean , bright and roomy . Being downtown the hotel is within walking distance of several things . We had a very nice dinner in the hotel's restaurant . There is also a nice pub for a cold one ! We would stay there again .

We were a little disappointed with the rooms after the boutique hotel promises on the website, but compared to many of the hotels on our trip through the Rockies they were still fairly nice. Breakfast was nice, although the steakhouse was closed at the time we were there which was a shame. Thankfully the attached pub is very nice and friendly, with well priced and tasty food, so we whiled the evening away in there and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Nice hotel, large, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant food quality is very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities provided FOC. Free tea and coffee is not provided in the rooms but it is available downstairs. Continental breakfast is adequate but not a great deal of choice. However, although this hotel is excellent in many aspects, it has a pub/night club which can be noisy. We checked in on a Friday for 4 nights and unknown to us the pub was open on a Friday and Saturday nights until 2am the next morning with it’s own DJ. On Saturday morning at 1am we were woken up with the hotel reverberating with the boom-boom base from the night club. This carried on until 2am and then the clientele left the pub with noise and shouting in the street outside until 2.30am. The sequence was repeated on Saturday night. Our room was not that close to the pub but we did face the street. It is quite likely that this would not bother some people, it is just our experience.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room well away from the pub if you want peace and quiet

After driving through a major snowstorm and delays for avalanche control, we stopped at this hotel. Front desk, room etc were excellent. Coffee in room would have nice though.

At around 6:30-7am we were awakened by skiers clomping their way down the halls. We expected that as it was a skiers destination hotel. We didn't expect that most of the hot food was gone at around 830am. But it was a comp. breakfast and I guess you get what you pay for.
Incidentally, a la carte breakfast was available.

If you're a skier, great place. If not, expect your needs and comfort to come second. A lot to expect for $150 + tax.

Heater in room basically 2 settings: super frigin hot or off

Room Tip: Revelstoke is a skiing town in the winter and most of its hotel cater to them. Perhaps a motel woul...
