On this (my first) visit to this town, the Visitor Center mentioned this place, right across the street. I sat on the patio out front and had a bowl of soup and a sandwich. I am rating this cafe average because of the quite ordinary sandwich ($7). The soup was much better, thick and satisfying ($4). I declined dessert since I wanted to try the Shushwap Pie Co. A short walk took me to their bakery/cafe where I had their pie special, a good pie at a very reasonable price. They have much more than pie though, and I plan to stop there on my next visit to town.
