It's hard to know where to start - we've never stayed anywhere quite so lovely, or quite so well-priced. The rooms are cosy, well equipped (TV, fridge, wardrobe, shelves, private bathroom, free WiFi) and the common areas are spacious and comfortable. But these features aren't what made our 5 nights here so great. The hosts, Lotti and Mauro, are charming, welcoming and genuinely caring for their guests, going far beyond their charge to make us feel at home. The mountain views are spectacular, the breakfasts are delicious, and the animals on the property are all very friendly. In fact, the feeling of the stay was more one of staying with good friends than renting a room for a few nights - our room actualy felt like 'our room', which we have never found while on holiday. Of all the things to do around the area, my favourite was simply lazing around in the sun at Swiss Lodge, surrounded by clean air and hummingbirds.

If we're ever lucky enough to return to BC, we'll certainly stop by again. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable and we hope to see you again!

Room Tip: They're all good!

My family stayed here for 10 nights as we prepared for my daughter's wedding. Lotti and Mauro are superb hosts: friendly, generous, helpful and accommodating. The location is superb, with breathtaking scenery all around. The rooms, with own bathrooms, are spacious, modern and clean. Freshly baked croissants every morning! We could not ask for anything more. We will definitely return!

Nice folks, nice place. Make a stop and check 'em out.
The breakfast alone was worth it. Add the kind souls that own the place and all their animals and you got it made.
Their dog was a sweetheart. <3

we spent two night there in July. Mauro & Lotti are excellent hosts, and the place is beautiful: clean, almost new, and quiet, although not far from downtown Salmon Arm. For breakfast you can find everything you need, taking your time in the spacious dining room or enjoying the view from the panoramic terrace

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Swiss Lodge. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, the building spectacular, the surroundings beautiful and peaceful. We loved it so much, we cancelled a night in Banff to stay an extra night here, and we did not regret it.
The rooms are big and very clean, with patio doors to the outside.
A place to rejuvenate your soul!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Eagle room but other rooms looked equally as good.

Me and my boyfriend were driving to Vancouver from Calgary and stayed at the Swiss Lodge for, unfortunately, just one night.
I say unfortunately because this bed and breakfast is a piece of heaven. I don't even know where to start.
The place is big, luminous, cozy, cleaned, simple yet flawless. You can totally tell how much care and love the owners put into it.
Our room, the Eagle suite, was spacious and well equipped, extra towels, extra pillows, a mini fridge...perfect, not to mention the sheets, hands down the most comfortable and softest I have ever experienced. And then the immense field that surrounds the lodge: we made sure to take our time to hang out with the goats and the horses and breathe some fresh air. Also the view from the patio is stunning.
The breakfast was simply unbelievable. Eggs perfectly cooked, gluten free bread available, everything was fresh and delicious. Make sure to try the sausage, you won't regret it.
But what really impressed us was the kindness of Lotti. Lotti made sure that our stay at the lodge went perfect, and so it did. Lotti is really a sweetheart, it was a pleasure meeting a woman like her, we have been talking about her all the time after we left.
We really look forward to come back. This place is a little gem, Thank you Lotti!

We had stayed at one B&B in Salmon Arm in prior years but found the rate had risen beyond our limited travel budget. We were so lucky to have found the Swiss Lodge! Lotti was such a gracious host! Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very spacious, loved the large bathroom and the Breakfast!!! OUTSTANDING! This is a great half-way stop between Vancouver and Calgary! Don't miss it!

Room Tip: We had a room on the back of the property on the main floor so the access to the car and luggage was...
