Rooms are just so slightly tired. My couch had a couple of stains so I put a bedsheet on it. Very comfy beds! Cool view of the mountains yay! Excellent professional staff, every single one.

We stayed one night to break the journey between Vancouver Island and Banff. As soon as we drew up we knew things would be bad as the location, immediately off the Transcanada Highway, next to a fast food restaurant and with a terrible PVC covered pool area was not auspicious. Reviews, however, had indicated recent upgrading and OK experiences by travellers and we had been driving for 8 hours so we went through with check in.
Our room was horrible. It desperately needed redecorating and did not feel clean, a suspicion confirmed by an unemptied coffee maker (old filter and grounds left in and jug unwashed) and used but unreplaced shower gel bottle! Yuck.
It is a sign of our mutual exhaustion that having confirmed the sheets were clean and checking that the bathroom had been serviced, we stayed rather than checking out and finding somewhere else.
The pool and hot tub looked so bad that we did not even consider using them and the next morning the tot tub had been roped off - not sure why but feel I could have a guess.
Breakfast was available in the lobby area next to check in and was better than we had anticipated with fresh coffee and toast and cereal available.
We left ASAP and will not be returning. We have stayed at a range of budget places and know they do not have to be like this. If it had been cheap we might have left a more kindly review but it cost well over a $100 and so just felt like a rip off.

This was a one night stopover in early July. About as expected for the price and hotel class. ie. small room, very small bathroom, mattresses poor quality.

Be aware that it's motel rather than hotel, with the window in the room at the level of the outdoor hallway. Unless you are an exhibitionist, you need to keep the drapes closed.

Check-in was efficient and the staff very friendly.

They ran out of clean pool towels.

Our toilet was not properly attached to the floor and would rock, fortunately without leaking. The sink drained slowly. When reported to the desk at check out, they immediately made note in some type of log book and thanked us for letting them know.

Free breakfast was OK, except there really isn't anywhere to eat it.

I would give it 2.5 stars, except I couldn't figure out how to do that.

I must admit that I've never been a big fan of Travelodge hotels. We were on our way from Southern Alberta to Vancouver Island. We booked our room late though and therefore had little choice as it was the August long weekend. We were quoted a rate at just under $200, so I figured the hotel must be better than I'd remembered of the Travelodge brand. I was wrong. The motel was dirty, worn out and creepy. The service at the front desk was extremely basic. You could just about see through the towels. The beds were worn out and in bad need of replacing. You could barely turn around in the bathroom. A huge disappointment - in fact, I spent the entire evening changing my return travel plans so as not to have to stay in this hotel again!

For a quick stop on the road, this place makes a great stop for under $100 and roomy space with a little fridge to keep things cool. It was clean and just off the highway. Not too noisy and even had a little continental breaky for everyone!

We loved the large heated pool and the hot tub.
The frendly and professional receptionist set the tone for this property when we checked in.
The room was surprisingly spacious and clean. It seems that the bathroom was renovated recently and kept nice and clean (you could almost eat off the floor).
Beds were so good that I wanted to bring it back to my home. We had the best night sleep ever!!.
The place provided complementary breakfast to boot.
I couldn't ask for more for what I had to pay for this room. It was a STEAL!

Good sized room - fridge in room - needed as no milk for coffee/tea. Coffee maker in room, but no kettle for making tea.
Breakfast average - continental - not much choice though. Breakfast area poor - in lobby area - one low coffee table and only 5 easy arm chairs for everyone- needs improving.
Laundry room & small pool.
Reception staff pleasant and helpful.
