our family just spend the day in Sidney. We live in Victoria (actually in the 'burbs...) but it's always nice to head out to Sidney by the sea for the day to peruse the shops. we arrived right at lunch time so we were hungry! We parked within walking distance from lots of restaurants and decided on Pier 1.
The menu was quite extensive with a mix of Greek/Mediterranean fare, sandwiches and burgers. I had the Greek meatball lunch and it was pretty good, although for the $11.95, I thought it was a tad expensive for what you got (3 meatballs in tomato sauce, a small Greek salad and a small piece of pita bread). My husband had a clubhouse sandwich that came with fries. It looked quite good. One daughter had the burger and fries off the "adult" menu and it looked quite tasty. i thought it was reasonably priced at $8.95. My other daughter had the grilled cheese off the kids menu and it looked good too. It was $6.50 and came with fries and her drink.
We`d return for lunch - we know what to expect and it won`t cost a fortune.
