“40 min scenic flight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

Myself and my girl friend took the 40 minute scenic flight with the owner and pilot Colette, the weather was fantastic and so was the flight. Colette had so much local knowledge about the area which was fascinating and a really nice manor that would put even the most nervous passenger at ease. The plane was really comfy and we both had a great view of the spectacular landscape, we would highly recommend this tour to anyone travelling to the area. Thanks Colette and Glacier Air.

♪ ♫ ♩ ♬ Sweet dreams are made of these....♪ ♫ ♩ ♬ soaring above our scenery!! Thank you so much for your lovely review! This is one of the most beautiful times of year to fly above our beautiful BC winter wonderland from the comfort of your window seat. Colette is a gem and knows this area like the back of her hand and of course aviation is her passion! Being the owner of Glacier Air it was a real treat for you to be able to have her as your pilot! Share the joy with others through photos you can also post here! Happy New Year... Come back during the summer months to see a whole new world from above!

“Super Fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

We had a group of seven that chose the 50-minute flight. We had a very fun time and the staff and pilots were amazing! We all enjoyed it and loved the interaction we had with the pilot. Would highly recommend doing this. Will take my family there next time we are in the Vancouver area!

The more the merrier! We just love groups because we get to fly in tandem! Air to air photo shots are a very unique memory. Despite the weather being a bit uncooperative we are glad you enjoyed your flight. Hopefully it was one of the highlights of your trip to Vancouver. We look forward to welcoming you back when you return with your family! Have a great holiday season..... cheers!

“Anniversary flight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

My husband and I were in Squamish and looking for something to do that would make our 40th anniversary memorable. We called Glacier Air and they were great! Laura got us booked on a 60 minute flight over the glaciers within a few hours. I know she had to scramble and rearrange a few things to make it happen. Our pilot, Hero, was fantastic. He was very friendly and shared great information as we flew. He made sure we had a great flight and you could tell that he loved sharing the spectacular views. It was a wonderful experience.

40 years plus one amazing aerial adventure..... wow! Congratulations again. We never like to let anyone miss a scenic flight opportunity and always do our best to accommodate. Thank you for commending us for our service, it is appreciated. Our pilots are just as passionate about aviation as they are about sharing their knowledge of this beautiful region. No trip would be the same without the humorous and informative narrative! The pleasure was all ours and we hope to have the pleasure again if you return.

“Glacier Air Flight was Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2012

As a volunteer Air Search Spotter and Navigator Flying with CASARA (Canada's Civil Air Search and Resscue Assn) I have done a lot of flying in the Rocky Mountains in southeastern B.C. and seen some amazing areas from the air during low altitude searches. However, when I took my daughter and son-in-law for a 1.6 hour flight in a Glacier Air Cessna 172 over the Permberton Ice Cap and Whistler/Squamish areas I was totally blown away as were the "kids" who have done a lot of snowmobiling on the Ice Cap. I have flown over the Greenland Ice Cap from Ilulissat but found the Pemberton Ice Cap and surrounding area much more spectacular. We had so much fun and the area is so spectacular we plan to do it again next year. When I compare the cost of flying near Whistler and Squamish with the cost of going to other entertainment events such as football, hockey or a rock concert I wonder why I haven't treated the kids to more flying-from a pure entertainment and excitement measure flying offers a lot more bang for the buck.

Just when you think you've since it all...... then there's the Pemberton Ice Fields in beautiful British Columbia! Since 1974 we've been flying these skies and the scenery always has us awestruck! We are so glad you got this panoramic perspective that left you and your "kids" with a renewed appreciation of what we like to call "paradise". An aerial adventure surely can top any type of entertainment as a more memorable and affordable experience. Any time of year for any occasion we look forward to sharing our skies with you again soon!

“life's beauty in 40 Mintues”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012 via mobile

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary flying with glacier air. We both have never experienced taking a small flight around our coastal mountains and I can defiantly say it was gorgeous. We had a perfect flight day with not a single cloud in the sky. Between all the different routes we decided to try garibaldi and were taken over the provincial park and over whistler village. The pilot was very informative when we had questions during the flight - excellent tour guide. I would recommend this to locals or visitors of Vancouver.
