We've always enjoyed sitting on the patio upstairs watching climbers on the Stawamus Chief when the weather is nice but always found the food pretty ordinary. Always reasonable priced, always really good service, friendly staff and good specials. The restaurant is now closed for a total renovation which only bodes good things in my mind. There are going to have a family area and an all new menu when it reopens late in November 2013.
If you are driving up the Sea To Sky highway when the weather is warmer (ie. next year) stop for a view of the climbers.
Note: Next May a new chairlift is going to open just south a mile south of the Rock Bar and Grill/ casino that will take you far above the Chief with a view and hiking trails to die for. Can't wait!
