This is a popular spot for locals and visitors, there is a full service campground which is one of the few in BC right on the ocean. If you can get a site on the waters edge you will get a beautiful sunset. One drawback of this campsite is it is close to the highway and the train tracks, the train comes through at 4:00 a.m. and is loud so be prepared. There is lots for kids to do here, they can explore the shore at low tide and find lots of interesting creatures under rocks, beware of the barnacles. There is a huge pier for catching the evening sunset, this is also a dive site so you can dive here and there is facilities for the divers to clean their gear. Lots of parking and a boat ramp available too.
