Heavens Edge Mountain Lodge
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Nestled in a wonderful mountain and forest backdrop, is this gem. We found it by chance, the owners Gary and Pauline have been making guests happy for a few years, with their garden flats. Ours was a one bedroomed, spacious flat with a wood burning fire, although May, we had a fire just because it is cosy - it threw out a lot of heat and in colder weather would provide excellent heating. The flat is light, and has high ceilings and the bed has a fantastic deluxe mattress, so a good nights sleep is guaranteed.
The lounge is comfortable and looks out onto the mountains and forest, where you can hike trails straight from the door.
We were provided with fruit, juice, eggs and some wonderful blueberry muffins Pauline had baked fresh for us.
There is a hot tub, to enjoy and the opportunity to light a fire in the garden to sit round and have a BBQ if you wish.
Gary and Pauline are welcoming hosts and did their best to meet our needs.
Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
