Myself, my husband and our 2 year old stayed here. It was so great for families, and an amazing deal. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. The yard was beautiful with a rock garden, sandbox full of toys and a hammock - very peaceful. The rooms were very clean and fresh. Having access to the shared kitchen and living area was also very convenient for making quick meals and having a place to lounge and play for our child. We'll definitely be back!

This feels like home because it is a family home, yet the accommodations are well separated from the family quarters. There are two rooms downstairs, and a large suite upstairs, with two comfortable bedrooms, a large shared living room, and an upstairs deck.

The first is a master bedroom with a small additional room, great for the extra person of child, and an en-suite bathroom with a large spa tub and toilet. The bath and toilet area are not in a separate room, however there is a privacy blind that one can pull across where required.

There is also a small porch that opens off this bedroom. There is also a door to a well equipped bathroom that has a shower, washbasin and toilet, that is available if the other room is not booked at the time.

the second room is quite a bit larger than the first, and contains a well equipped kitchenette as well as an extra sleeper couch, a small dining table, and a character coffee table. Both bedrooms are equipped with comfortable, warm, queen size beds.

The entire facility is spotless, and the large room has views out to the mountains beyond.

Valemount does have those mile long trains running through it hourly through the night, and they sound their horns as they approach each of 3 or 4 railway crossings. I am happy to say that the train did not trouble us at all in this lodging. Not one bit, in fact it was a very peaceful sound in the distance.

We did not have breakfast here, we were quite frankly not aware that they served breakfast, as this is called Gallery and Lodging not B&B, so we unfortunately missed out on that treat. However there is a great breakfast place in the town that we always enjoy for old fashioned homestyle cooking, where we usually eat.

All in all a pleasant, comfortable overnight stay, great for groups and families, for overnight or longer stays.

Room Tip: In Valemount, take into account the proximity of your accomodations to the train tracks. There are 3 or 4 level crossings that trains go through almost on the hour throughout the night, so be sure to ask. Accomodations in the town like this one are no problem, others, sometimes not so much.

We only booked a day or two ahead of time, but they were graciously able and willing to fit us in! As well, being vegetarian, they kindly made us a hearty breakfast of lentil pancakes (never had them before, but delicious!). Thanks again, you guys!

I had a small job to do in Valemount, and I brought my family along to make a trip of it. We wanted to stay in Jasper, but couldn't find accommodations. We settled on Mountain Driftwood, and, are we ever happy we did! Bonnie and Paul were very welcoming, and were eager to share their tips and suggestions with us. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast, with a good selection of homemade foods to choose from. The gluten-free pancakes were great, and my picky daughter was satisfied as well! We were advised to see the salmon spawning behind the visitor center, and then told about salmon jumping the waterfalls again the next day. We will stay here again on our next visit to Jasper, and I recommend this B&B to anyone!
Thanks for the good time! John, Candy, and Morgan!
There are trains running through Valemount, but it's not overpowering at this B&B.

We only stayed here for one night before we went to Jasper. The owners were very friendly from the start and were happy to tell us were to go for a nice walk and dinner. The room, bed and bathroom were perfect. We chooses to have breakfast the next morning. That was really nice! During the breakfast we got more recommendations for our trip and they were all very beautiful.
The train is indeed close in this town but their are earplugs available if you want. We both slept very well.

Well if you are looking for an excellent stay near Jasper you should stop here.

Room Tip: There is one room with a kitchen and a normal shower and one without kitchen but with a bath.
