“Top notch”
Reviewed September 1, 2014

You cannot go wrong here. We ate several meals worth of food and all of them were spectacular. The service was very fast and friendly, and the food was out of this world. The linzertorte and the raspberry mousse were particularly noteworthy.

“Wonderful baked goods”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

My husband and I stopped by on our trip home from our vacation on Brier Island to pick up a loaf of organic whole wheat sourdough bread, as well as a chocolate cigar pastry for me, a chocolate croissant for him. All were delicious and prepared in the traditional French bakery tradition using local ingredients from the Annapolis Valley. They offer many wheat- and gluten-free products, as well.

“handmade organic foods!!”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

this place isn't that easy to find if you don't know it, with only a little sign by the road, at the end of a large parking lot, but as soon as you come in you will be greeted with a smile. the service is bilingual and everything is handmade the night before. the first time I was there in the morning and got to have it still warm. the place smelled as delicious as it tasted.
I have to recommend my favourites, the almond croissant and the olive focachia (only available certain days)! near Christmas you may get the traditional log there (I thought I din't like Christmas log until I tried REAL (theirs) Christmas log), and if you order it, a few days after you can get "la galette des rois", a traditional french dish for the holiday season.
if you are in the mood for some treats, for a picnic, or just for real bread, it's the perfect spot.

“the best quiche in the valley”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

Working regularly in Greenwood, I have the opportunity to get something to eat on my way back to the Berwick area of the Annapolis Valley regularly. I discovered not long ago the Quiche Lorraine made by Marie et Guy. I knew their breads, their pastries, their croissants, the ability of Guy to make some excellent pastries and their passion for artisan breads that were not made with the run-of-the-mill flour used for most breads (however good) you find in larger stores. But the quiche is divine. I tried the quiche lorraine and have been going back for more, and I tried the mushroom quiche and both are a notch above any other quiches. Hot or cold. My only problem? The town of Kingston should have a program to make a beautiful sign for their store and make it in French - the community of Kingston-Greewood should be glad to have French people making such goodies in the center of the Valley (the "heart" is supposed to be Middleton, where Marie goes to the market regularly during the Summer).
