The meals that I have had there are excellent. I can recommend mango lassi and chai tea as beverages, the samosas as appetizers, and both the butter chicken and Benagali Fish Fry as mains. We would have tried desert, but there was no room for anything else. The owner uses local ingredients wherever possible.
The price was is excellent, especially considering this was a gourmet meal.
The wait for service may be long so come when you have time. The owner is running a one man restaurant -- waiter and chef -- but don't let that deter you. You might might consider phoning first to ensure the restaurant is open. Twice we have arrived only to find the Saloni Tapis Grill closed even though it was supposed to be open.
