“A wonderful back to nature in the middle of a quiet town”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This Park offers extensive paths and stairs to make even a fitness guru find changeling. This park is suited for all ages, young and old. There have been recorded sightings of coyotes and deer so a nice walking stick is recommended if you venture deeper into the park. There are nice waterfalls there when the water is high. Take a smack and enjoy your day.

“A MUST see in Truro!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013 via mobile

Beautiful trails, tranquil, peaceful, great spot for exercise while you drink in your surroundings! Public swimming pool is a great place to take the kids on a sunny afternoon. Picnic areas and band shelter. The waterfalls in the spring roar with flowing water and in winter have ice formed on top but are still beautiful. Great spot to go no matter the season! This is the spot to unwind!

“A good walk”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

We stopped for one night in Truro en route to Halifax. To break up driving we stopped for a walk here. The central walk up the creek through the park will give you an hour's break and views of picturesque water falls and forest.

Love this park, it has many trails. There are two small waterfalls, and stairs to climb. Great workout.
