I grew up going to this park and am very pleased to see it still booming. The pool, canteen and trails offer something for the entire family. Love the live music venue in the summer!

“Victoria Park Truro”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

A very nice city park with boardwalks. There are also waterfalls and plenty of deer. There are ample picnic areas available. If you are lucky, a concert will take place in the park during your stay.

“A beautiful park for all to enjoy - worth a visit!”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

Victoria Park is a great place to go and enjoy the outdoors. With beautiful sights, handy pic-nic tables, and a playground, it's a great spot for families, couples, dog owners, and nature-lovers alike.

In the summer I can see the park getting hot, so make sure you have water with you, though you won't have to go too far to buy some. It was very icy on our visit this time, as to be expected in late March - so if you go in late winter/early spring be prepared for icy conditions.

“Scenic walk in the town”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Beautiful area, lots of pathways, stairs, waterfall and river as well as playgrounds for the little ones. It is NOT groomed in the winter so walk with caution.

“Beautiful and relaxing”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Love Victoria Park!!! I use to go here quite often in the warmer months when I lived in Truro but now only make it back on occasion. It is a lovely spot, well maintained and is a beautiful escape to just get away and enjoy nature and to get a little exercise. There are even a couple spots with waterfalls so if it is really hot out you can enjoy a little dip to cool off.
