“Now my go-to hotel in the Truro area”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

Very clean, quiet hotel. Perfect for business travel.

Rooms have all the standards (iron & ironing board, hair dryer, alarm clock, coffee pot, etc.) plus a few nice extras like mini-fridge, microwave, choice of firm or soft pillows (marked with little bows). TV has full cable and on demand movies.

Restaurant has pool, fitness centre, on-site restaurant, ice & vending machines and on-site conference rooms.

Location is within walkinig distance of the downtown area and the malls on Robie street. It's a few minutes drive off the highway.

Rooms are very nicely decorated with plush, comfortable furniture. A good amount of electric plugs (my pet peeve is in this modern age of everyone having 2 -3 electric gadets to charge every night is hotels with one extra outlet to plug everything into that is hidden behind a dresser). Water pressure is decent in the shower (another pet peeve of mine).

Everything has that feel that they've gone that one, little extra step.

Room Tip: There are no roons with a view. The best you can do is a view of the parking lot. I had room 403, wh...

I have been to this hotel a few times over the past couple of years while on business. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are very polite and pleasant. The rooms are very nice and the price is reasonable. The hotel is also within walking distance of a grocery store, which is quite convenient when your staying for several days. I will defintely stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The front desk staff were excellent, very helpful. The room was small but very clean. The bathroom was very small, tub/shower and toilet, the sink is outside the bathroom. However it did have a large vanity which was very convenient. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever had in any hotel.

This property is a very updated property and a very comfortable place to stay, with very comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast area is a very cozy area with fresh fruit and hot items. The stair case to walk up to the other floors is not right in the lobby. You must walk down a few steps off to the right of the elevator to find the stair case. This is much faster if you can walk up stairs. There was not any outside road noise as this is not on a busy road. Enjoy!!

We stayed there for one night and as we have a pet we had to stay on the first floor - not my first choice but we did have a pet. The bathroom is tiny- tub, shower and toilet - not great for a mid- large person - bathroom sink is outside very close to the entrance. Room itself is very comfortable with great beds and clean. Restaurant on site so you pay for all your meals including breakfast - a bit pricey but very good and lots of healthy food. Front check in staff are very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Fee is charged for Pets - be aware

Pool is open until 11 but there's so many kids. A couple of weeks ago I stayed in a hotel that was adults only, 10-11.
The hot tub was great.
The guest laundry is out of the way. You have to go through the pool area and then you can't go back the way you came; you have to walk all the way around some meeting rooms.
Coffee maker, microwave and fridge, all add a nice homey touch.
The bed was very clean and comfortable.
